  • ⚡️ Miloo introduced a new series of high-performance two-wheelers that it calls the “SUV of ebikes”

  • EV battery costs could spike 22% by 2026 as raw material shortages drag on.

  • ⚡️ UBCO, seller of all-terrain electric motorbikes, announced it is launching brick-and-mortar Hubs to help people learn to ride and take care of their vehicles ⚡️

  • In urban areas, where people live close to work, employees are more likely to return to the office than in suburban areas.

  • Google Merchant Center posted new guidelines for ebike sellers, banning ebikes with a max speed of more than 15.5mph.

  • Policymakers often fail to grasp electric bikes’ power to help decarbonize transportation, especially in comparison to electric cars. “E-cars are still only 9% of sales and the e-car fleet is under 17 million worldwide, while the 2- and 3-wheelers are at 275 million.”

  • ⚡️Comodule is partnering with Swapfiets to make bike subscriptions more data-driven

  • ⚡️ Lanterne has raised a $400k pre-seed round for its micromobility data platform

  • ⚡️ Audi is working with Spoke, Qualcomm, and Commsignia to reduce roadway fatalities by using cellular vehicle-to-everything tech, connecting cars and bicycles.

  • Bicycles have evolved, have we? “More people get places by bicycle than by any other means, unless you count walking, which is also good for you, and for the planet, but you can travel four times faster on a bicycle than on foot, using only a fifth the exertion.”
