Aventon isn't messing around with their first e-MTB. The Ramblas is a true mountain bike, kitted out with premium components and featuring Aventon's in-house mid-drive motor, the A100. LiveWire is recalling approximately 788 of its 2024 S2 Del Mar and S2 Mulholland electric motorcycles because a high-voltage fuse may fail, potentially causing the motor to stop unexpectedly while other electrical systems can continue functioning.
Heybike launched a new long-tail e-cargo bike with the value-minded customer in mind. Starting at $1,499, the Hauler delivers a lot of value for families with a maximum load capacity of 440 lbs, an optional 2nd battery for 85 miles of range, and a front suspension that smooths out the ride.
The founders of 2Swift Boards designed a 2-wheel e-skateboard that emulates the true feel of carving on a snowboard. The reverse rake castor design on the front wheel retains the board's high-speed stability and low-speed maneuverability. The 2Swift Board is available on their website for $1,699, or you can try it yourself at Micromobility America this fall.
Ohio-based LAND is bringing electric battery and mobility manufacturing to the US, by creating a niche for adaptable, urban-focused electric motorcycles. To strengthen its position as an EV leader, LAND is developing its CORE battery technology for its District bikes while also supplying batteries and data to other electric mobility players in the industry. (LAND, yet another company you can expect to see at Micromobility America this November!)
New photos reveal that a Zero Motorcycles/Hero Moto FXE e-motorcycle project is in the works.
Introducing Robin, a two-seater electric microcar from Wings EV, that boasts the maneuverability of a motorbike with greater safety and comfort. Wings EV is set to launch the vehicle in April 2025 in 3 variations: a basic model with 40-mile range ($2,383), a mid-model with a fan and 56-mile range ($2,979), and a premium variant with an AC, an audio alert system for enhanced safety, and 56-mile range ($3,575). India-based, Srivaru Motors launched their new electric motorcycle, Prana 2.0. The e-motorcycle is positioned to capitalize on the growing market for electric two-wheelers with user-friendly serviceability, and delivering a top speed of 76 mph with an impressive range of 155 miles.
German e-bike builder Advanced designed the new Trekking Pro Wave FS with rider comfort in mind. This high-end touring/city bike features 120mm of suspension in the front and rear, a premium Shimano drivetrain, and brakes, and is powered with a Bosch CX mid-drive motor.
The Pikaboost 2 from LIVALL is now in production and is expected to ship in September. The e-bike conversion kit can be quickly mounted on a bike’s seatpost and provides electric assistance directly to a bike's rear tire. Improvements on the Gen 2 unit include higher maximum assistance speed, increased assistance range, app-based controls, regenerative braking, and fall detection. Currently crowdfunding on Indiegogo.
The Hydroflyer is a premium e-hydrofoil that is designed to ride like a mountain bike with a stable platform to stand on and wide handlebars. For nearly $16,000, the propeller-driven motor will get you to a top speed of 27 mph, and you can get 2 hours of fun time on a full charge.
